After meeting your driver in your hotel lobby in Beijing, you will be transferred to the airport to Shanghai.

You will start your exciting full-day tour once you arrive in Shanghai. Your first stop is the Yu Garden, the city’s most famous example of the traditional gardens as historically kept by wealthy families in the Ming & Qing Dynasties. After exploring the garden, spending time wandering through the markets and bazaars of Shanghai’s Old Town. This is the perfect opportunity to get souvenir shopping done while soaking up the atmosphere of old Shanghai.

Then you willl board your Huangpu River cruise. The cruise offers an extraordinary view of the Bund and its promenade, which are landmarks of Shanghai’s 9th century struggle to reclaim a waterfront from the blogs of this river, which originates in Tai Lake. After your cruise, you will have a traditional noodle dish for lunch.

Then you will have the opportunity to walk along the wide boulevard of the Bund, lined with impressive neo-classical buildings.

Afterwards, you will visit the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, where you can get a vision of Shanghai’s exciting future and see a scale model of the inner city including the World Expo site and further developments that have been planned up to 2020.

After this, the tour will end and you will be transferred to the airport in Shanghai, once you arrive in Beijing, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Beijing.
